Stamped Concrete

Stamped concrete is pattern stamped in fresh just poured concrete. Stamped Concrete Overlay is used upon cured pre-existing concrete.

The Process

The process installing stamped concrete consists of pressing molds into the concrete while the concrete is still in its plastic state. Color is achieved by using Dry Shakes or Color Hardeners, Powder or Liquid Releases, Integral Colors or Acid Stains. All these products may be combined to create even more intricate designs.

The process of installing a stamped concrete overlay is applying a thin layer of acrylic cement on the surface of the existing concrete then stamping it with large rubber stamps to leave a design of the stamp upon the surface. The acrylic cement is then stained to any color and clear sealed.
